Over the years, I have taught in both college and corporate settings. These are some of the habits that the high performing learners displayed:
Before Class
- The high learner comes to class ready to learn the material.
During Class
- They have near perfect attendance.
- They take personal responsibility for learning the material.
- They do not just memorize the material but they try to understand the underlying principles of the material.
After Class
- After class, they re-write their notes.
- They use the material in their daily lives.
- They learn the material well enough to explain it to others outside of class.
